As we prepare for autumn, set intentions with us in this reflective and meditative two-part handbuilding and candle dipping workshop. Create your own wall-hanging or tabletop altars perfect for holding trinkets and ritual objects.
After an introduction on basic handbuilding techniques, you will build an altar with the option to also make additional ritual objects such as a candle holder, an incense or palo santo holder, and a small guardian.
We will come back together to hand dip beeswax candles after your ceramic pieces have been fired. In this second session, we will explore candle form, shape, and texture. You will leave this session with your finished altar and 2-3 hand dipped candles.
