Earth & Ember: a Fall Incense Workshop | October 2

$90.00

Join multidisciplinary healer and herbalist, Allie Brown, for an incense crafting and mindfulness workshop. Learn to craft hand rolled and cone incense blends inspired by the energetic transition from summer to fall, using resins, powders, herbs, such as sandalwood and frankincense.

Burning incense can be used as a mindfulness practice, transforming the sensory experience of smoke and scent, to one of present-moment awareness and grounding. Explore the spiritual science behind incense, and discover how this ancient practice can support emotional transformation, energetic cleansing, intuition and more.

Smoke moves in fluid, ever-changing patterns—rising with warmth and gently dispersing as it cools. Across many spiritual traditions, it is seen as a bridge between the physical and unseen realms, carrying prayers, intentions, and offerings while symbolizing purification and transformation.

Allie will guide us in meditation with sound healing instruments.

Tea will be served, to keep us nourished and grounded.

No prior experience is necessary. All materials, firing, and instruction are included.

Workshop Details

  • Date: Friday, October 2

  • Time: 6:30pm - 8:15pm
