What should I wear to a workshop?

Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. We have aprons, but clay, paint, and ink can sometimes get on clothing. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, especially for stained glass workshops.

Do I need to trim my nails for ceramics workshops?

Yes, long nails make it difficult to work with clay and can affect your ability to shape and smooth your pieces. Please trim your nails before ceramics workshops to get the most out of the experience.

Do I need experience to take a workshop?

Most of our workshops are designed for complete beginners, and we'll teach you everything you need to know. If a workshop requires previous experience, we'll note that in the description.

Street parking is available on Virgil Ave and surrounding streets. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to account for parking.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes! Tickets are transferable. Just email us at squeak@housemouse.la with the new attendee's name and contact info so we can update our roster.

When will my ceramic pieces be ready?

Ceramics need time to dry and go through two firings (bisque and glaze). Your pieces will typically be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the workshop. We'll email you when they're ready!

Can I buy a ticket as a gift?

Yes! When you purchase, enter the recipient's name and email at checkout, and we'll add them to our roster and send them all workshop communications.
