Clay Cafe - March
Handbuilding Days is now Clay Cafe!
As Handbuilding Days has been growing and getting more popular, we’re so excited to finally transform this offering into a little craft cafe starting this month, to accommodate more people, more art, and more community building. Rather than a place where you only go to attend workshops, we want house mouse to be a place for the community to gather, make connections, and create all at the same time, and on a more regular basis.
At Clay Cafe, you will be able to choose from our menu of activity offerings:
Handbuilding — $18, includes 1.5 lb of clay* + loosely guided instruction, stay as long as you like
Drop-in wheel — $60, includes 2 hours on the wheel, 3 lbs of clay (*not a lesson, prior experience required. treat this as a practice session as we will not be able to hold your pieces for trimming or glazing)
*Additional clay available for purchase — $5/lb
Glaze session — Available for you to glaze pieces previously made during Handbuilding Days/Clay Cafe $0.20/cubic inch, $0.30/cubic inch for oversized pieces larger than 6” on any side
Drawing/painting — $12, includes paper and the medium of your choice (watercolor, acrylic, brushes, charcoal, pastels, pencils)
Refreshments will also be available.
Please RSVP (free) for the date you would like to attend so we can get a head count for materials. Pay-as-you-go on the day of attendance.
RSVP highly encouraged, limited walk-in spots available.
